World Heritage Week 2019
The 6th edition of Heritage Site Cleanup was held today morning around the environs of Wallajah Gate and Bastion in Fort St.George. The Cleanup was held with the able support of Archeological Survey of India, Chennai Circle, every year they celebrate the World Heritage Week between 19th -25th November. This year around 75 participants took part in the Cleanup that included students from Anna Adarsh college, staff members from DP World Chennai, Nam Veedu Nam Ooru and Kathai and cyclists from Cycling Yogis. The cleanup focussed on clearing up the vegitation around the heritage structures. At the end of the cleanup , Swachh Bharath pledge was taken by the Participants
